APSA International (Association pour la Promotion de la Santé - Association for the Promotion of Health).
The Association was created in 1985 and originally registered in March 1988 under the name AVAH (Association Volontaires d'Aide aux Hopitaux - Voluntary Association for Help in Hospitals) Reg. No. 2891.
AVAH was transformed into APSA in January 1991, with new objectives including prevention and education, along with international medical collaboration and the name was duly changed to APSA (Association pour la Promotion de la Santé - Association for the Promotion of Health) in 1991 and to APSA International in 1996.
